Greetings All;
The next talk our CI Brownbag talks will occur Friday June 7th 2019 at 2pm Eastern. The speaker will Joseph White from the University at Buffalo Center for Computational Research and he will be speaking about the XDMoD tool. A quick abstract for the talk:
Open XDMoD is a NSF funded comprehensive HPC resource management tool designed to provide HPC center personnel and senior leadership with the
ability to easily obtain detailed operational metrics of HPC systems. It includes an extensive analytical capability to optimize performance at the
system and job level, ensure quality of service, and provide accurate data to guide system upgrades and acquisitions. Open XDMoD is an open source
product intended to support institutions such as universities, government laboratories and commercial entities. For this tech talk, we will start with a brief overview of Open XDMoD and then we will present a live tutorial demonstration of Open XDMoD emphasizing its HPC monitoring features and user support features such as the Job Viewer, which allows
XDMoD users to obtain detailed performance data for an individual job. We will conclude with a question and answer session.
